Twin Castle – where I ate like a king

This is one for classic East Bay heads who enjoyed an affordable got dog, burrito, or tofu sandwich on San Pablo now and again. The Twin Castle was located right on the border of Berkeley, Oakland, and Emeryville and had the crenelations and cartoon royalty crests of an old timey eatery. The property was bought in the mid-2000s development book, abandoned in 2008, and now seems to be a parking lot.

Anyways, I was able to make a color copy of King Tut to remember all those tasty budget meals. Wish I had kept a big fiberglass crest we hacked from the top of the building, but it was just too big.
